BSK is Moving to the Campus of Georgetown College
The Trustees of BSK recently voted to relocate the Seminary to the campus of Georgetown College with fall semester classes to be offered in August 2010.  The presidents and trustees of both institutions have been working toward this agreement for the past year.  BSK will be located in the attractive Ensor Learning Resource Center near the center of campus.  Construction is underway to adapt space for the BSK administrative and faculty offices. 
 
We are excited with the plans to move to the College because of their Baptist identity, good reputation, and a sense of permanency given their significant history since 1787.  BSK will bring to the College a reinforcing and further shaping of their Baptist identity, several revenue streams, help in recruiting students, and the presence of a theological school on campus.
 
Although BSK will remain a free-standing seminary, we are very pleased about the move and look forward to an ongoing, collaborative relationship with the College.
