Dr. Inscore Essick's doctoral research focused on sixteeth-and seventeeth-century dissent and nonconformity. At BSK Dr. Inscore Essick teaches courses in Baptist heritage and Church History. Prior to joining the faculty of Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, he was a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Religion at Baylor University. He has published several articles, book reviews, and sermons and is currently working on a book about Thomas Grantham, a seventeeth-century Baptist minister and Nonconformist. In addition to his published works, Dr. Inscore Essick has presented numerous papers at regional and national conferences.
Dr. Insore Essick is a member of The National Association of the Baptist Professors of Religion, the Baptist History and Heritage Society, the American Society of Church History, and the Conference on Faith and History.
