Baptist Seminary of Kentucky is a free-standing seminary offering quality theological education. BSK is preparing God-called men and women for life and ministry. By blending the best in academics with emphases on spirituality and the practice of ministry, BSK equips students for Christian vocations in the 21st century. BSK faculty and students take seriously the missional life of the church and its global witness.
Location  Baptist Seminary of Kentucky is located in Lexington, Kentucky, on the campus of Lexington Theological Seminary. While BSK shares facilities with LTS, the two remain separate entities with their own faculty, students and staff. Students have access to a state-of-the-art library with over 165,000 volumes and regular receipt of approximately 1,000 periodicals from around the world.  Classroom and fellowship facilities are comfortable and enhance the educational environment.

Community
BSK believes that the shared experience of study and community is a crucial aspect of theological education and we encourage all students to participate as much as possible in the life of the seminary. Community worship is experienced together on a regular basis, followed by a fellowship dinner. Other events throughout the school year are designed to bring the faculty, staff and students together to share their lives, pray together and encourage one another.Â
