Dr. Jackson wrote the Annual Bible Study, Hebrews: Encouragement for a Life of Faith, for Smyth & Helwys, and has presented papers at meetings of the American Academy of Religion and the Society of Biblical Literature.  He has also contributed Bible study materials for Smyth & Helwys’s FormationsThe Christian Index, and Baptists Today.  He is a member of the National Association of Baptist Professors of Religion and the Society of Biblical Literature.

Dr. Jackson teaches Introduction to the Bible, Introduction to the New Testament, Introduction to the Old Testament, Greek, Biblical Hermeneutics, and various electives in Biblical Studies.
